Affiliate Disclosure

The short version

Some of the links on Gulf to Orbit are affiliate or partner links. When you book a hotel, reserve a tour, or buy a product through one of these links, we may earn a small commission — at no additional cost to you. This is how we keep the site free to read and pay for hosting, photography, and the occasional plane ticket.

How we choose what to recommend

We recommend places, services, and products we’d use ourselves. Whether or not a brand pays a commission has no bearing on whether we cover it. If we link to a hotel on South Padre Island, it’s because we think it’s worth your time — not because the commission rate is higher than the next one over.

We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled as such.

Programs we participate in

Gulf to Orbit participates in the following affiliate and partner programs. Some pages on this site may contain links to these partners:

  • Booking.com Partner Program — hotel and accommodation bookings
  • Viator (a Tripadvisor company) — tours, food tours, and experiences
  • GetYourGuide — tours and activities
  • Expedia Group — lodging, packages, and car rentals
  • VRBO — vacation rentals
  • Discover Cars / Kayak — car rentals
  • Skyscanner — flight search
  • REI Co-op — outdoor gear and optics
  • AllTrails+ — hiking and trail subscriptions
  • OpenTable — restaurant reservations
  • T-Mobile, Visible — mobile carrier plans
  • U-Haul, PODS — moving services
  • Realtor.com — real estate referrals

This list may change as new partnerships are added or removed. We do not list every retailer individually for products purchased through aggregators like Avantlink, Awin, CJ Affiliate, or Impact.
